I went on the London trip, where we attended Frameless. I had visited before in 2023, as an A-Level student, and it was one of the places that inspired my desire to do this course. I also wrote about Frameless in my BSc2a essay. So, going again, with a Creative Technology background and an analytical mind, was a very different experience. I found myself more interested in looking for the hidden projectors/speakers and pushing the technology to its limits rather than admiring the art on display. However, the effect wasn’t lost on me, and I still felt completely immersed.

The collaborative project ‘documentation’ is a new style of documentation for me. As it is supposed to be selling our project for a competition rather than proving how we got there. I found this a very satisfying way to work, though it was a bit of a struggle to start with. I’ve always found myself condensing information too much, so being required to keep it as short and sweet as possible was a lovely way to work.
