For the robot hacking project, I decided to make a door closing robot designed for when my cats swing doors open.

When designing it, I thought a lot about Roomba hoovers, since they are quite similar to Pololu’s but much bigger. I thought about how my cats have interacted with our Roomba in the past, its features, like pausing when it comes into contact with something, and what I could use in my project too.

I’ve made a great deal of progress with this project this week, making me feel calm about finishing it and the rest of my projects in time for submission.
